Accessibility Statement
Digital services should work for more people.
MNessa aims to make its website understandable, navigable and usable across a broad range of devices, input methods and access needs. This statement is honest about the target and does not claim a formal certification.
1. Our commitment
MNessa Limited is committed to treating accessibility as an engineering and service-quality requirement, rather than a final visual check. We aim to identify barriers, make reasonable improvements and respond constructively when a visitor cannot access information or complete an action.
2. Accessibility target
Our design and development target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable to this website. This target helps structure our work, but this statement does not represent independent certification or a guarantee that every page, device combination or third-party service is fully conformant at all times.
MNessa is a private-sector service provider. We also recognise the wider duty to avoid disability discrimination and to consider reasonable adjustments under applicable equality law.
3. Features in the current website
The website has been designed to include:
- semantic headings, landmarks and page structure;
- a skip link to move directly to the main content;
- keyboard-accessible navigation, controls, links and enquiry actions;
- visible focus states and descriptive control labels;
- responsive layouts that reflow for smaller screens;
- light and dark themes with deliberate contrast choices;
- reduced-motion support for people who request it through their device settings;
- plain-English labels, meaningful link text and validation messages; and
- legal pages that can be read, linked to and printed without requiring an account.
4. Known and potential limitations
Accessibility can be affected by browser extensions, older devices, user-generated material, linked PDFs, third-party scheduling tools, maps, video players, payment interfaces or other services that MNessa does not fully control. These integrations will be reviewed before they are added, but their accessibility may differ from the core website.
The enquiry modal and animated brand elements are included in our keyboard, screen-reader, magnification and reduced-motion testing scope. When testing identifies a barrier, it is recorded and prioritised according to impact and feasibility.
5. Feedback and alternative formats
If you cannot access information, operate a control or submit an enquiry, email contact@mnessa.co.uk with the subject Accessibility feedback. Helpful details include the page, device, browser, assistive technology and what you were trying to do. Do not feel obliged to disclose a disability or medical condition.
We will consider reasonable alternatives, such as providing information in a simpler digital format, discussing it by telephone or arranging another practical way to complete the request. Response time depends on complexity, but accessibility issues affecting essential contact or service information will be treated as a priority.
6. Testing and review
MNessa's review process may combine automated checks with manual keyboard, zoom, contrast, responsive and screen-reader testing. Automated tools are useful but do not establish accessibility on their own. Reviews should take place before launch, after major design changes and periodically while the website is active.
7. Statement status
This statement was prepared for the MNessa website version identified above. It will be updated as testing, technology or content changes. It is intended to communicate a genuine improvement process rather than make an unsupported claim of perfect accessibility.
